Es ist jetzt 20.55 Uhr und ich sitze im Büro und warte auf Pepe (meinen Supervisor), der mich mit in meine Richtung nimmt, wenn er nach Hause fährt. Denn es regnet und vor allem ist es dunkel, die Camino de la Presa (die Straße zum Institut) hat keine Laternen und mein Fahrrad kein Licht. Das hat mir zwar schon bei meiner ersten nächtlichen Fahrt einen neuen Freund beschert (und Freunde bei der lokalen Polizei kann man ja immer gebrauchen ;) ), aber die Erfahrung muss ich nicht wiederholen. Also wird der Drahtesel wohl eine weitere Nacht am Institut verbringen müssen (ich glaube, so langsam gewöhnt er sich dran).
Mhm, soviel zum Thema Einleitung. Also, für den Fall, dass diesen Blog Leute lesen, die mich nicht kennen: Ich heiße Jessica, bin 25 Jahre alt, studiere Diplom-Physik und bin seit 3 Wochen und 2 Tagen San Luis Potosi (Stadt) in San Luis Potosi (Staat) in Mexiko, am IPICyT (Instituto Potosino de Investigacion Cientifica y Technologia) tätig, um dort einen Teil meiner Diplomarbeit zu schreiben. Und jetzt steht Pepe vor der Tür und will los. Bis demnächst ...

it is nice to see you blogging about your stay in Mexico. For what I can remember at the IPICyT, there is a bus which is leaving the institute at 19:00 and later at 21, so eventually you can take it (not really sure if this schedule is still on).
